The Israeli opposition criticizes Netanyahu's decision: "It's a disaster that will lead to many more."

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's order to "conquer all of Gaza" issued on Thursday has sparked opposition.
Opposition leader Yair Lapid said in a post on the social media platform X that Netanyahu's decision is a "disaster that will lead to many more disasters." In his statement, he reiterated that the order was made with the disapproval of the Israeli military and security ranks.
Lapid also justified this order by saying it would "result in the death of hostages, the murder of many soldiers, cost the Israeli taxpayer tens of billions, and lead to a political collapse."
